Meet OakPine
The people behind your kitchen.
A family-run business established in 1974. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality cabinetry, exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
Who you'll actually work with.
No account managers, no rotating reps. These four are on every OakPine project - from the first site visit to the final checklist walkthrough. Their numbers go in your phone on day one.
Ron Oakes
Co-Owner
Ron opened Burlington's first kitchen and bath showroom in 1974. Throughout five decades he has designed cabinetry for thousands of custom homes and condominium developments across Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville and beyond, with a commitment to Canadian craftsmanship.
Rudina Oakes
Co-Owner
Rudina guides clients through the full kitchen design process, from space planning and material selection to the smaller details that finish a space. Her work focuses on how texture, colour and light come together to create kitchens that feel elegant, warm, timeless, and great for property value.
Johnny Pineyro
Co-Owner
Johnny brings over 25 years of experience as a lawyer and entrepreneur to the business, with a focus on transparency, local manufacturing and personalized service. Johnny's approach is rooted in respecting each homeowner's vision and delivering quality work across a range of budgets.
Shanna Pineyro
Co-Owner
Shanna looks after the systems and workflows that keep the client experience running smoothly. Her focus is on making sure every interaction — from first consultation to final install — is handled with care. She has 19 years of experience spanning legal, business and operations roles.
Six things we don't compromise on.
Seamless continuity
Your lead designer stays with you from start to finish and walks the job with the installer. We're fully committed to white-glove service.
An eye for design
We stay up to date with design trends and we understand what types of designs increase property value for the long term. You'll work directly with our in-house designer.
A quote is a quote
Our estimates include the line items that many builders leave out: disposal, permits, electrical rough-in, crown, toe kicks, etc. What you see at signing is what you pay at handover.
Complete transparency
We pride ourselves on being fully open and transparent. You'll know exactly what's going on at every stage of the project.
Materials made here
We use Canadian-made products in all cases possible to support our domestic economy. OakPine is proudly Canadian!
Friendly + approachable
We'll be in your personal space for a while, so our team prioritizes your entire experience: not just a quality kitchen, but also respectful people that are easy to get along with.
